Understanding Motion Replay Components
When you open a motion replay, you'll see three main elements:
- Virtual Golf Club: A representation of your club moving through space.
- Swing Path: A rainbow-colored 3D ribbon showing your club head and hand path throughout your swing.
- Virtual Head: An indicator of your head position and movement during the swing.
These components work together to provide a comprehensive view of your swing mechanics.
The Virtual Golf Club
The virtual club mirrors the exact movement of your controller during the recorded swing. Pay attention to:
- Club face angle throughout the swing
- Shaft lean at address and impact
- Club head speed and acceleration
The Swing Path Ribbon
This colorful 3D trail offers insights into your swing plane and path:
- Red → Orange typically represents the takeaway and backswing
- Yellow → Light Blue typically indicates the downswing
- Light Blue → Magenta typically highlights the impact zone and follow-through
The Virtual Head
A metallic head with a Swing Genius hat represents your head position, helping you analyze:
- Stability throughout the swing
- Any unwanted lateral or vertical movement
